This blog will focus on the setting of Toxic Ways and how it matches the movie and its genres and main ideas. Setting in film is the time and place in which a story is told. establishes the mood, reveals characters and conflicts, and gives clues to a story's theme.
The setting of Toxic Ways is Piper Highschool's Campus. Given that Piper Highschool gives off a sort of gloomy sense of lighting in many parts of the structure, Motion Productions decided that this is where the set of the movie will be filmed. This is also another good setting due to the fact that Sabrina and Lucas are highschoolers. The setting mixed with the establishing shots in the film can reaffirm the audience that the characters in the film are highschoolers. This movie takes place during the spring in 2023. The time of day in the film is midday. The Socioeconomic status of the characters are that they are in the middle class with Sabrina being one of the only few who are in the upper class.
